Beautiful Blondie girl, our favorite shy little fox 
I met Blondie in receiving a couple weeks ago, all scarred up and very shy but demure. She was brought in for killing chickens, which is relatively unsurprising. She has been scared and shy since she got here but she has shown so much potential in just the short time we have worked with her!
Blondie is incredibly observant and keeps a watchful eye on her surroundings. While she does sometimes pancake on leash, she has gotten better about walking on it and following our leads. She also has started to allow touch, though it makes her a bit uncomfortable, especially if it comes from overhead. With time and patience, she should warm up to pets.
Blondie can be really funny about the ways she wants attention. She doesn’t want me to GIVE her attention, but she still seems to ask for it. At one point, I deliberately sat in the grass and ignored her and she came up behind me to bark at the back of my head. When I turned to her, she trotted away 
She also makes some great protests when left in the yard by herself, some REALLY hilarious and surprising noises came out of her yesterday
Blondie is a dog’s dog. She is overall pretty neutral but seems more comfortable in the presence of other dogs. She greets them politely and is happy to coexist in a shared space. She has a very chill energy about her. At one point when Rowdy was thrashing on leash, Blondie came up to check on him and investigate but showed no ill intent. Blondie would actually probably do best in a home with a confident dog to help her adjust.
Due to her shy and fearful nature, Blondie SHOULD NOT go to a home with small children at this time.
