MEET JOVI
Happy wiggly boy Jovi has been patiently waiting in his kennel since April 3rd for a family to notice him and take him home
. Sadly his time is almost up.
Jovi with his cutest floppy up ear, smiley happy face and beautiful brown/black coat makes him quite the stunner boy. 
Jovi loves
human attention and enjoys his ears scratched. He is easy to handle and eager to learn. He would love to be your next canine companion and explore all the new adventures with you.
Shelter notes: Jovi is a happy, wiggly boy who’s always excited to be around people. He is easy to leash and bring in and out of his kennel. He loves spending time outdoors and exploring, but he’s just as happy to stay close and enjoy scratches behind his floppy ears. Jovi is still working on his leash manners and can pull a bit when he gets excited, but he does a great job checking in with his handler and is eager to learn. He enjoys toys and treats, which will make training fun and rewarding. He’s also very tolerant of handling and is comfortable being touched all over, including his face, ears, paws, and tail.
Jovi participated in a dog-to-dog test with Nova (A608646), a 1-year-old female German Shepherd. Jovi showed friendly enthusiasm. He was excited at first and got a little too pushy sniffing the other dog’s face, but he listened well when the other dog asked for space. He quickly adjusted his approach and in the end both dogs were able to walk calmly alongside one another. Jovi was later in the play yard with male dog Ruckus and did well. Overall he does well with other playful friendly dogs.
