MEET KOBE
Another senior at the shelter waiting for a family to notice him and sweep him off his paws and into a forever family. We don’t know a lot about him at the current moment, but want to share and get what info we have out to anyone interested.
Owner surrender and shelter notes:
10-year-old neutered German Shepherd; he was owner surrendered on 3/16/26 weighing 76.6lbs.
Per owner: Has been outdoors for 6 years, very high energy, not used to people and other animals. Citizen has not put forth a lot of effort to train him. Barks and all people and other dogs. Owner unable to keep due to landlord.
Kobe was previously at the shelter in February 2021 – notes: dog needs a covered kennel. last night while in receiving he pushed up his door and got out, he also knows how to open doors and got into cat receiving. He destroyed the entire room and ate part of the wall.
Kobe participated in off leash playgroup with female dog Sunshine and male dog Remy and did great. This shows he has the ability to get along with other dogs. In addition, he did well with the handler during his time in the yard
